Programme

Our working themes

Fourteen topics grouped into six areas. Every session and every published memo relates to one of them.

Our purpose

Why does the Agora exist?

Training, the maturing of ideas and the meeting of minds are essential steps towards better understanding public affairs and contributing to their management.

Constantin Atsu ANAGO, known as “Prince”, founding president of UGE France and initiator of the Agora

Method

How do our meetings work?

Every session follows the same format, whether by video call or in person.

  1. 1

    A topic and its presenters

A member or a guest speaker prepares the session around a theme from the programme.

  2. 2

    An introductory presentation

The scope of the topic, the established facts and the questions it raises.

  3. 3

    Questions and discussion

Everyone questions, adds to or challenges the analysis, with arguments.

  4. 4

    A written summary

Once written, the summary is published as a memo.
